Atlantic Fire & Safety Equipment Ltd. – “50 Years of Service”
In 1970 Atlantic Fire & Safety Equipment Ltd. set up shop on Westmorland Street, Fredericton. At that time, it consisted of a showroom with some safety supplies and a workshop to service fire extinguishers. There were a few moves around the area until 1984 when it settled into its existing location in the “Bates Building” on Wilsey Road, the heart of the Fredericton Industrial Park.
From the beginning Atlantic Fire & Safety Equipment Ltd. has built its reputation on providing excellent dependable service in the hand portable fire extinguisher business. Atlantic Fire & Safety Equipment Ltd. was one of the first fire extinguisher service companies to offer hydrostatic testing of high-pressure cylinders in New Brunswick.
Over the years there have been many changes in the industry-from industry standards to regulatory requirements. To meet the ever-changing safety demands of the job-site, work-place and the home, we believe that constant training is necessary to provide our customers with the best service possible. Our operations have grown to include a service-shop with testing capabilities, technicians to do inspections of hand-portable fire extinguishers covering most of the upper river valley and western NB and a showroom with access to a variety of safety related items.
